Google has now published it/s new Version of Picasa 2.7 for Linux. From now on you can upload your photos to Picasa’s Web Albums on Linux too. But this isn’t the nly improvement.
Apart from uploading Web-Albums you are also able to Download complete Photo Albums as a collection. Instead of downloaing every single photo this will save you heaps of time. There’s a BUT tho. Apparently this will only work with FireFox, which is for my part great since I love using Firefox.
A new feature is that Picasa saves all the changes you make by editing your photos. A few simple clicks and you can restore the original file.
More information on Picasa Linux version you can find here on linux.com !

Hey guys, it’s been ages since I updated my personal site, not to speak off my blog
Anyway I finally got myself a new laptop and did it. I re-did my personal Model site from the ground with Joomla 1.5!
A few reason why I decided to use Joomla this time:
- Great Flickr Plugin
- Loads of nice Designs available (I purchased mine at CMSLounge and adjusted graphics myself)
- Nice Interface & easier Administration compared to Drupal (Useful for smaller websites like this one)
Joomla 1.5.2 works a lot better than 1.5.1 which I tried beforehand but didn’t decide to use. By using a internal FTP client you don’t need to worry about setting folder permissions which was always an issue.

You don’t want to pay an additionally $100 US dollars for the iPhone device and another $60/month for 2 years to your Provider (e.g. AT&T) ? How it is possible to use your iPod Touch to make calls will be explained on Lifehacker.com.au!
Visit Lifehacker.com.au for the full instruction how to do it!
Facebook has added a feature which lets you populate your Facebook page with your data from Flickr, Delicious, Picasa and Yelp - without needing an extra application to do it.
To import activity from other sites into your Mini-Feed (and into your friends’ News Feeds), hit the Import button on the top left of your Mini-Feed. You’ll get the option to chose which service to import from (see photo above).
The tool also lets you get information from Yelp - and Digg integration is on the way too.
