WordPress announces that just in a few days WordPress 2.3 will be coming out with tons of new features. The Releaseis scheduled for Monday, 24th September. In the meantime the Wordpress teams suggests to prepare yourself for an upgrade. Read more about this here!

K2 Release Candidate 1
If you are using K2 with WordPress 2.2.x and planning to upgrade to WordPress 2.3 you should check out their latest Release Candidate 1.K2 is an advanced template for the blogging software WordPress. The first Release Candidate is available for download at GetK2.com.
K2 is an advanced theme with a lot more features than a normal theme can offer. K2 for instance also has an options panel, from which you can select custom styles, upload header images, configure the sidebar to infinitesimal levels, turn our AJAX features on and off and much more.
